Hygienic, simple, affordable and adaptable to most toilets, the Hygiene and Toileting System (HTS) is designed to improve the health of the client and the life of the caregiver. The versatility of the HTS makes it ideal for anyone dealing with tight budgets or tight spaces. Because it accommodates toileting, showering and bathing, the HTS eliminates the need to buy separate equipment for each activity.
On. Over. Off. No matter what the toileting situation, the type of toilet or the special need, the HTS can meet it with its unmatched versatility. It is usable:
ON the toilet. Placing the HTS on any model of toilet, round-front or elongated, enables the client to use the same toilet as the rest of the family. Mounting bars make for easy, secure attachment of the chair to the toilet base. Removal is just as easy, no tools required.
HTS can be configured in myriad ways to fit your clients. Options range from the basic model, with seat, back, base and armrests to the fully accessorised version.
FEATURES:
- In the tub: The tub stand attaches to the small and medium Rifton HTS seats and bases for comfortable in-tub bathing and hair washing, while the reduced footprint accommodates narrow and wide tub bottoms alike
- On the road: The portability kit gives users greater independence – and their families greater freedom to travel. Lightweight folding frame and carry bag (for small and medium sizes) make toileting possible while travelling
- High-Low Base: the optional high-low base for the HTS allows the height to be easily adjusted between 51cm to 78cm, assisting with manual handling and to provide access to perform a range of different functions.
- Tilt-in-space: With its gas-assisted springs, the Rifton HTS tilts 5 ̊ forward for easier transfer, as well as 25 ̊ back for showering and hair washing
- Unique seat pad design: The unique design of the optional seat pad opening – open to the rear for larger users – facilitates clear access for cleaning and hygiene
- Optional integral skin foam pads: For the back and seat, provide comfort for users and easy disinfecting for carers. The pads are easily removed and replaced
- Load bearing footplate: For easier transfers
