The Armon Edero is an arm support, especially designed for those who only have limited strength in their arms and hands, or for those that can only use their muscular strength for a limited time.

This can be the result of a spinal cord injury, RSI /CANS, cerebral infarction, or one of the many muscular diseases.
The device compensates the full weight of the arm by a spring compensation system. This is a simple, one-time setting.

The Armon Edero follows the natural movement of the user, allowing the arm to move easily in any direction. The Armon Edero is unique as the ultimate control lies with the user; the user makes the movement and not the device.

The Armon Edero arm support is also often used in the workplace to alleviate physical strain  or injury, such as RSI / CANS. Because the weight of the arm is compensated, the constant pressure on the back, neck and shoulders is considerably reduced. All movements are natural and flexible, allowing the user to use reduced power and energy. Posture is significantly improved by using the Armon Edero.

At Access Rehab Equipment, we supply a range of Active Controls’ innovative new products for users of Assistive Technology Equipment. We offer alternative drive controls for both standard and complex rehab power wheelchairs. The Active Controls system allows wheelchair users to drive with their head, eyes, shoulder or finger - The options are just about endless! The System is also unique in the way the carer or user can quickly and easily detach the drive control component from the chair and affix it on the rear of the wheelchair for carer control.  Active Controls provide multiple drive positions with the one device.

One of the outstanding features of our Active Controls range is the way it can accommodate the central drive position as opposed to the common and awkward side mounted joystick. It has to be seen to be believed just how much more user friendly and comfortable a centre drive joystick  can make the powered mobility driving experience for long term users.
