Glide Power Assist
Glide's Power Assist System is designed to help you reach new levels of independence. It allows you to get out an enjoy life with ease. In any situation the Glide Power Assist can provide that little bit of help when needed.
Available in Type A or Type B:
Type A: This model is recommended for wheelchair users who are strong enough to move around in wheelchairs but have difficulty in covering long distances or climbing hills (Eg. persons with lower spinal disorder)
Type B: This model is recommended for wheelchair users who have difficulty in operating the hand rims to move around. (Eg. persons with cervical vertebra disorder). The supplementary power is activated with relatively light application of the pushrims.
FEATURES:
- The Power Assist is designed to work in conjunction with most wheelchairs with seat widths of 16” – 20”
- Weight capacity of 120 kg / 264 lbs. (wheelchair and user combined)
- The Power Assist has a maximum speed of up to5 km/h (3.1 mph)
