Mattress Overlay - Silicone Fibre
This very soft Care-Quip Mattress Overlay is made of millons of silicone-coated sylindrical hollowed cored fibres. The resilient fibres provide excellent pressure relief while the silicone coating acts as a lubricant to eliminate friction and reduce shear forces. This coating also prevents the fibres from absorbing sweat or urine.
The overlay is reversible with one side cotton polyester and the other side of waterproof polurethane for the incontenent patient.
